A Culinary Oase in The Middle of Nowhere | Lolly Molly Ice Kitchen

I wrote this post precisely in a moody cloudy evening here in my bedroom, a cup of warm fresh milk in my hand and while reading Fifty Shades Darker, the second book from Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. I can’t thank enough to our lovely translator who endlessly gave me a call and ask whether he should do the writing or what. So undoubtedly i said yes, with something in exchange, ofcourse.
Here in this post i took my lil bit of time to add one or so paragraph just in a matter for thanking and giving him credits. So, congratulations for something-that-you-did on your recent Canadian trip and for the big success on your 2nd dental surgery! This guy was—and will always—be someone i admire since the past five years, both as a brother and a bestfriend, for his fatherly figure and for, unexpectedly, hooking me up. So um.. this paragraph is i think the one i should presenting to you :D

Well, enough for the opening credits!

This post is about our unexpectedly discovered hidden gem, a culinary oase just in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of housing complex, schools and small quite alleys. I, without a single doubt, agreed on the offer thrown by the other fella to visit one of her findings on Instagram yesterday. So she suddenly said directly to me, since we got nothing and nowhere to go that evening, that she found something with eye-catchy pictures of menus through an Instagram profile, i take a look on it, immediately said yes and.. way to go! But wait, where in the world is the address?
I must say that the ones i saw from her yesterday was such a colorful, cutey, eye-catchy and mouth-watering pictures so i guess that the place is big and similar enough as the menus they served. Also the location is kinda unusual, Tlogomas!—turned into a small and quite alley packed with houses and schools you will hardly found the small building with no banner pole and lights it looked so dark from the outside. They just use a large rectangular banner that even folded upside so we’re very sorry since we have nothing to capture from the upfront.
Me, myself is not really into a person who will just randomly visit new places according to it’s display and typical teenagers euphoria but i much prefer good places instead of the delicious signature menus or so. So, honestly speaking is that this kind of place was actually never grabs my attention at all but thanks to her for made me unconciously said yes and give this a thumbs up.
First, the price range is sooo crazily freakin cheap! Just between 3,000 – 15,000 rupiah! We ordered two servings of that-kind-of-dessert-in-a-pot named Molly Garden, a serving of strawberry yoghurt mochi ice cream, and that three coloured scoops of ice cream named Molly Ice Cream. Result? Excelenttt!!!

Look closely at that couple of little worms.
The mochi is small (reasonable but good enough for just cost 3,000 rupiah) yet a flavour-rich, soft and chewy make it much more better than another mochi ice cream spots around here. The potted dessert? Addicting and freshly delicious with an enough amount of vanilla ice cream, pudding and cereals. I’m not sure what should a potted dessert contained of actually but the very first time i know about this kind of you-eat-directly-in-a-pot-dessert was from a cafe named Vanilla Bar in Singapore and Banana Tree in Seoul and it contained such a baked-in soft cake, creamcheese and things like oreo crumble on the very top to make it even similar as black grounds on a flower pot. But anyway, good combination after all! :D

The triple scoops of ice cream is i think not to be talked about since you’ll definitely find this similar taste of ice creams in another spot but the plus point is that i like the way they serve and decorate their menus so much even if it’s just marshmallows or something you will easily found somewhere at grocery stores.
Good job so far Lolly Molly, good job! We wish you big success and bright future ahead. See ya on our next visit! :D
